Antilli's first Vision

Tick Tock …
Tick Tock …
Tick Tock …
“Uuuughhh … My head”, you think. “Curse that clock! I wish my father never acquired it from that gnome envoy.”
You get up and look around only to find that you are at your childhood home. Your father is in the other room. The smell of your favorite breakfast is in the air. You sit up and stretch. Feels good to be home again.

Tick Tock …
… all except for that accursed clock! The sound just rattles through your head. It’s almost as if time itself is haunting you somehow.
“Get in here, Son. Hurry up or you will be late!” Your father peaks in the room to check on you. You get up and follow him. The second you turn the corner you find that you aren’t in the kitchen where you’d expect to be. Instead you are in the Queen’s throne room. The queen, her subjects, and your family are all present. Oddly enough, the room has several dragonborn there as well. These fierce-looking dragon warriors are clad in heavy battle gear. A silence fills the room and everyone turns to you. Several awkward seconds go by before the queen finally speaks. “Well, Antillie? You’ve gathered us all here for something big. So … what is it?”

You look down, as if to gather your thoughts, and you realize that a strange but alluring crystalline sword is in your hand. It is mostly black, with red highlights, and very heavy. Suddenly you are consumed with pure evil. You raise the sword and begin to cut down everyone in the room. The sword slices through bone as if it were paper. Each of your victims burst into flames on contact before they are vaporized. You have become death incarnate. With each swing of the sword your flesh beings to rot. Maggots begin to feast on what remains. You make your way to the center of the room and finally come face to face with your queen. “Stop this madness at once”, she commands. Your only reply is to plunge the sword deep into her heart. All the remaining people who starred on in both fear and horror suddenly burst into flames and then turn to ash. You finally regain your senses … but not before you realize that it’s too late.

Tick Tock …
(Or is it?)
With that, you wake up in a cold sweat! “What the … was that a dream?” you ask even though you already know the answer. You are Eladrin and Eladrin have no need for sleep.
